Frequently Asked Questions.

1. Once I place an order, do I get to see a proof before it goes into production?
Yes, once we receive your artwork or printing information, we will submit a pre-production e-mail proof for your approval.  An actual item proof is available at an additional charge.

2. How do you need us to submit the artwork?
Artwork may be submitted in either hard copy or electronic format.  Please include your company name and purchase order number on all artwork sent.

Hard copy artwork should be crisp, clean, black & white line art.  If the art is for multiple color imprint, please provide registration marks.  Providing artwork larger than actual size will allow us to reduce it and will provide a better finished product.  If your art contains shading, it should be submitted at actual size with a 45 line screen.

Electronic artwork may be submitted via disk (DVD, CD, floppy) or email.  We accept both Macintosh and PC files.  Our e-mail address is Customerservice@psprom.com.
Please observe the following guidelines:

  1. Please include your company name and purchase order number on all artwork sent.  Choose a file name that relates to the artwork such as the purchase order number.
  2. Our preferred format is PDF.  If you cannot provide your artwork as a PDF, then send a hard copy or raster version of your art (JPG, TIF, BMP) so that we can compare the two and make sure your artwork is not altered in any way when opened.
  3. Acceptable file formats: Please remember to convert all fonts to outlines

5. What is the usual production time?
Production time begins when:

  1. Approved art is received by factory.
  2. Credit has been established or payment has been received.
  3. Standard production time is 5 – 7 working days for catalog quantities unless otherwise noted.  Most overseas order require 20 days an over

6. What credit cards do you take?
We accept Master Card, Visa and American Express, cashiers check or money orders.
If you are a new account, payment is required at the time of order, unless a credit agreement has been established.  Production time will not begin until payment is received in full.  Checks require a ten day waiting period. 

7. How do I figure price on T-Shirts?
T-Shirts blanks are always up and down because of cotton price changes.  However, for a regular t-shirt blank, start with a cost of $3, then at $1 per color, per location, plus a screen charge of $25 per color per location.  Finally, $0.75 each freight to your location.  Minimum order on T-Shirts is 48.

8. How do I figure price on Embroidery?

Embroidery prices are calculated per 1000 stitches.  Most hats and left chest logos are about 7,000 to 10,000 stitches. Cost is $1 per 1000 stitches plus the price of the garment.  The is no extra charge for the amount of colors on embroidery, but there is a one time tape set up digitizing charge of $10 per 1000 stitches.

9. What is four color process?
It is artwork that uses all four colors of the magenta into multicolor graphics.  We have some items available for imprint on four color process at no additional set up charge, such as magnets, post-it notes etc.  But other items require set up charges.

10. What are Multi-Color imprint charges?
Orders requiring a multi-color imprint of three colors or more that include a running charge will require a minimum quantity of 500 pieces.  Additional lead time may be required.  Contact the office.  Rush production is not available on multi-color imprint.

11. We don’t have a logo and would like to create one for our company.  Can you help with that?
Yes, just let us know your ideas and what message you’ll like to send with your logo and we’ll be glad to create the right identity for your organization.

12. Would you ship the exact quantity I order? 
If this is your requirement, we will like to know prior order is placed.  Most manufacturers follow the national industry standards of a 5% over or under on orders and they are invoiced for the exact quantity shipped.

13. Our logo has Pantone Colors do you use the Pantone Color Matching System?
Most our manufacturers have stock inks which they provide free of charge.  They might already carry your color.  But if they don’t, a $25 charge is added for each additional Pantone color.

14. Our order is too large to fit in our premises.  Do you arrange for warehousing and distribution?
Yes, your order can be stored and insured your merchandise for future releases.  Please contact the office for additional charges involved.
